Happy Camper

I'm a happy camper right now. Our car is falling apart and I had to take it to the auto mechanic this week. The brakes weren't working. I felt like Fred Flintstone. I had to practically put my feet on the ground to stop. I'm not exaggerating. I was afraid to drive the thing. Plus, the car also been knocking again and overheating. And the windshield wiper blades came off during the winter when I tried to get them to clean off the ice. Far be it from me to actually clean off the ice by hand. You know what I'm saying?

All of that is to say this: I was ready for a $600 car bill. It came to $109.45. Gotta love that. The brake problem was solved with brake fluid. And he told me I didn't need a tune up. I find that hard to believe, but I'm not complaining. I don't know that I've ever taken our vehicle to Tony Lee's and he hasn't told me about something I DON'T need done! I love that guy!

Expectations are an amazing thing. I'd normally be upset over having to spend $109.45 on our car, but when you expect a bill three times that it's like they paid you to fix your problem. So I'm counting my car blessings today.
