Ethiopia: All Your Strength

I love the fact that there are different ways to love God. Some days when I'm learning a lot or studying a lot I feel like I'm loving God with all of my mind. There are days when I feel like I love God with all of my heart or my soul. Today I loved God with all of my strength. My tank was on "E." Or in Kramer terms, I went "past the E" today.

We built a mud hut today. The most physically demanding part of the day was mixing the mud and hay. It's hard to describe, but we mixed the mud the way the Italians crush grapes with their feet. The difference is that our feet were getting stuck. The mud was like quicksand. My legs were like jelly afterwards. In fact, my hamstrings were cramping up tonight.

Then we shoveled the mud onto a "contraption" that is tough to describe. It was a piece of tin with two wood sticks attached underneath to carry things. We must have shoveled and carried a hundred loads.
