I had one of those "you had to be there" moments with our team tonight. Macchiatos are the drink of choice in Ethiopia. Almost everybody ordered macchiatos after dinner and they must have run out of their regular cups so Pastor Joel got this "tea cup" that wasn't much larger than a thimble. We died laughing over that. It was literally a "one sip" drink so I asked Pastor Joel if I could have a sip. Then I got this milk shake in this huge glass and I really rubbed it in. I know a blog can't capture this kind of thing, but I think part of the joy of life is laughing at the little stuff. We must have laughed for ten minutes. I don't think I'll ever forget that mini-macchiato.
