Ethiopia: On Location

We spend a couple hours with Pastor Zeb's core group today. It was so reminiscent of our core group of 19 people nine years ago. I think I have more confidence in what God is going to do through Zeb and the church than they do. I think this church will change the face of Africa. We had an amazing time of prayer and worship. It was in that atmosphere of prayer that the Lord reminded me again that the most important thing we've done this entire trip is prayer. It seems crazy. We could have stay and prayed in America. But we wouldn't have prayed the way we've prayed this week. I've always believed that there is a conection between geography and spirituality. I know God is omnipresent. I know we are the temples of the Holy Spirit. But there is nothing like praying "on location." I think our prayers are seeds that will grow roots and bear fruit. This trip is preparing the way for future trips. I think we'll take hundreds of NCCers on a pilgrimage to Ethiopia in the years to come! God is birthing something supernatural in prayer. I specifically prayed that the Lord would remind us in the years to come when these prayers are being answered.
