Ethiopia: The Power of One
Uncle Betta said something early this week that was so profound for me. He said the need is so overwhelming that you can "throw up your arms" and not do anything because it's too big. Or you can "roll up your sleeves." We're rolling up our sleeves. Uncle Betta said, "One is a big number in God's economy." Today we're building two mud huts or houses. It seems like so little, but we're making a difference. It's Matthew 25. Whatever you do for the least of these you've done it for me. I think too many people let what they can't do keep them from doing what they can. The Lord reminded me that there are 365 days in a year. Sometimes I want to do everything yesterday! But it's about making in a difference in one person's life one day at a time!
