I got a great blog from someone in my ministry mentoring group today. I shared that I feel as called to write as I do to preach. He shared some great thoughts. Paul was doing ministry like a chicken with his head cut off. He was going on missionary journeys, preaching to anything and everything that moved, and starting churches. But he found time to write. His letters or epistles are like "antiquity blogging" in the words of this NCCer :) I couldn't help but think about how grateful I am that Paul found time to write! Imagine if he said he was too busy "doing" ministry so he didn't have time for "writing." We'd be missing half the New Testament! It was a huge encouragement to me.
