Union Station
Every once in a while I do a prayer walk around Union Station. I just feel like it's my way of "staking claim" to the territory God has given us. I still marvel at where God has positioned us as a church. I was so encouraged by one of the engravings that hang over the main entrance to Union Station. It's taken from Psalm 8 I believe. It says, "Thou hast put all things under thy feet." It was a cool encouragment because whenever I pray on location I always think about Joshua 1:3: "I will give you every place where you set your foot as I promised Moses." I just felt like it was the Lord confirming His authority over everyone and everything! In fact, this Psalm seems to be a blank check. I think spiritual authority is knowing what really belongs to us and staking claim to it. And if we really knew what belongs to us it'd blow us away. We just need to learn to walk in the authority of Christ.
