lightning bugs
I think life is all about enjoying the simple pleasures.
We took a walk last tonight and caught 26 lightning bugs. They were everyplace! The kids had the time of their life catching them! So did their dad :)
What a marvel of God's creation. I think we take things like lightning bugs for granted. But who besides God comes up with those kind of ideas? Everything that exists can be traced back to the imagination of God. There was a moment when God said to Himself, "How about I make a bug that lights up?" Absolute brillance! Go God. And I'm sure, in the mind of God, He could envision all kinds of kids all over the world finding pure joy catching them :)
