The coffeehouse is about T-Minus six weeks! Thought I'd post an updated picture.
It's tough to put the location of the coffeehouse in context. But we're one block from Union Station, across the street from the Federal Judiciary Building where thousands of federal workers are employed and kitty-corner to Station Place--the largest office building in Washington, DC (1.25 million square feet).
We have a saying around NCC: God is in the business of strategically positioning us in the right place at the right time.
Our coffeehouse is Exhibit A.

yeah God! You know what's cool about this for me? That years and years ago people in my church were willing to "follow their hearts into places their heads couldn't fit." Fun for me since I have only been at NCC 2 years. Bill Johnson says "you know you're mind is renewed when the impossible begins to look logical." I'm glad for leaders in our church who followed their hearts on this one. Who would have thought it would lead to this. :)H
I walked by and saw the lights on this morning on my way to work! it's been great seeing this come to fruition, especially living next door for so long!
YEAH God for what He is already and will be doing through Ebenezer's!
Woo-hoo! I love that coffee house and I love hanging out there... and it hasn't even opened yet! This is the law of anticipation. Or something.
Coming from small city, cow country PA...E's will definitely be a good reason for a road trip. I've been telling the buddies about it. Hey, are there going to be any out-of-state commuter coupons available.....just kidding.
Can't wait to visit!
Wow, it's really looking great! I was down there last night and couldn't believe how close we are to this dream being a reality - can't wait for the Grand Opening!
double shot no fat latte add whip, please (the skim cancels out the whipped cream)!
Man,
You all have started placing your pre-orders already :)
For what it's worth, the only thing missing is a "dumb waiter" between my office on the second level and the coffee bar :) I guess I'll have to walk all the way downstairs to get it :)
Mark
Mmm medium skim chai, heavy on the foam for me, thanks.

WOW. I can't wait to visit next time I'm in town.
Awesome. :)
I'll be your "dumb" waiter and get your coffee!! Wait a sec...did I just call myself "dumb"? :)
