The "Simply Strategic" Guy
A few months ago, Tony Morgan and Terry Storch came up with a Top Ten Innovative Churches in America list. Somehow we landed on the list. I'm not sure we deserve to be on there. But we were pretty humbled and honored. Especially because Tony and Terry are such great guys! I'm having lunch with Terry next week when I'm in Dallas. And I met Tony today at Catalyst. Man, what a nice guy! Nicer than nice!
I love his Simply Strategic series. Here's a link to his most recent book, Simply Strategic Growth. It totally stretched my thinking about the way we do church.
Footnote: that's Steph Modder, one of our worship coordinators, in the background. It's not really germane to this blog, but she's an all-around great person :)

I just bought his book (Simply Strategic Growth) today as well as the book Buzzmarketing by Mark Hughes. I am read Buzzmarketing first but I am looking forward to reading Simply Strategic Growth.
