Multi-Site Dream

Six years ago I had a vision at the corner of 5th and F Streets, NE.

I could see NCC meeting in movie theaters @ metro stops throughout the DC area. One catch. I didn't know of a single multi-site church at the time. And to be honest, we didn't even have one viable location yet :) We were a fledgling church of about 100 people.

That's when I enrolled in the Doctor of Ministry program at Regent University and met Bobby Hill. He was one of my professors. He also pastored a multi-site church called New Life in the Virginia Beach, VA area. He is now the head of a network of 100+ churches called Vanguard Ministries.

Bobby and I tag-teamed teaching a course on Creative Communication for Regent University two years ago. I developed the curriculum for Regent. Bobby taught the class in Virginia Beach and I taught it at the DC campus.

Bobby emailed last week and asked if I'd speak at their annual leadership summit. I immediately said yes. I owe him a debt of gratitude. He really nurtured this multi-site dream when it was a flickering flame :)

Excited about connecting with his network of pastors next April.

Mark did a great job at this conference. Realy enjoyed the story of Ebenezers Coffeehouse.
