Christmas Tree

One of the things I love about meeting at Union Station is that they put up a huge Christmas tree for us every year without us even asking. They put it up right in our lobby :) They put up wreaths over the entrance too :)

I don't take for granted the amazing amenities that come with meeting in the middle of the marketplace!

Here's a picture!

OFF THE SUBJECT: Pastor Mark, do you have any contacts in Phoenix AZ. I am trying to hook up with a few like minded Christians who are not afraid of culture, music, etc...your blog and other readings I am encoutering are fanning the flames of my love for God...I do notice, however, the coolest things are happening for twentysomethings...however I am 41!
Any thoughts??

The tree looks a little crooked ... just like the one you showed us at your house! :)

I don't have any Pheonix, AZ contacts off the top of my head.

I don't think chronological age is as important as creative age :) I know lots of "old" people who are neotenic--they retain youthful qualities.

By the way, I once heard about a study that found that most people say the "best age" is 42. So you have something to look forward to :)

Robb,

I noticed the same thing :) My chiropracter once said my legs were different lengths. Maybe my camera angle is off a little!

Then again...maybe it's the trees :)

I agree on the age thing...I am just having a hard time relating to the folks my age at my church...my wife will agree that I am quite neotenic! Thanks for the word! I am enjoying your blog very much...should you think of anything happening out here in the desert, please post it or feel free to contact me!
