Church Planting Conference

Just got back from Fort Myers, Florida. I thoroughly enjoyed this church planting conference.

Really enjoyed crossing paths with some old and new friends. Ran into Doug Miller who is planting a church in Castle Rock, Colorado. It was cool to connect with Herbert Cooper, one of the other speakers, who pastors in Tulsa, Oklahoma. And my former youth pastor, Steve Pike, is now the National Church Planting Director for the Assemblies of God. Excited about Steve playing that role!

Ed Stetzer, author and church plant guru, spoke in the AM. Great stuff. Then I did three one-hour sessions in the afternoon. I was pretty wiped out afterwards.

I know I say it everytime I speak to pastors, but that is one of my passions. I love hanging out with my tribe :)

The only downside about the whole trip was leaving 75 degrees and returning to 30 degrees :)
