Old DC Postcards

I just went through about 100 old DC postcards that we got online. The one above is one of my favorites.
We're looking at making the old postcards our table tops at Ebenezers to celebrate the history of DC and give our coffeehouse signature. It was a high dose of DC nostalgia. Really cool to get a view of the nation's capitol from the 1900 and 1950 perspective.
For what it's worth, many of these are "actual postcards" with notes and dates. I read a few from 1905 and 1911. By the way, many of them had 1 cent stamps. It cost 1 cent to mail a postcard in the U.S. and 2 cents to mail a postcard to a foreign country.

old postcards as tabletops is a great idea!
Narnia was great. REALLY looking forward to the message on Sunday!
Do we have a picture of Ebenezers from when it was in use?
I agree with Ron, I think that would be really KEWL! I look forward to dropping by Ebenezers in our trip out to D.C.
We don't have any original pictures but we'll hang a "before" picture and "after" picture that shows what the little rundown building looked like when we bought it :)
Wish we could dig up an old picture of the original diner. I don't know that one exists.
What was the name of the diner?
I LOVE this idea of the postcards as tabletops. I'm super excited and can't wait for the place to open! I'm so proud to be a member of NCC :)
