4th Grade Basketball

I'm coaching Parker's 3rd/4th grade basketball team. We had our last practice before our first game. If you think of it, I'd appreciate intercessory prayer at 1 PM on Saturday :) I think we need it.

We got beat something like 40-2 in our first game last year. Depending on your measure of faith, if you could pray for a painless loss or a miraculous win that'd be great :)

It is a new year. Let's pray for a win.

Also, thanks for the evotional. I had the opportunity to participate in the same Bible study you discuss when I was doing some work for the former senator, AG, etc. He was considering running for president and they hired me to do some organizational work in the faith community.

I was truly struck by his humility and dedication to doing everything for the glory of God.

You're the man!

My son was just born but I wanted to coach to get to know more of my community so I'm officially coaching a 2nd/3rd grade team at my local Y. Coaches meeting last night, parents meeting next week and then comes the season :) Should be fun...

How much can I give you for your playbook? :)

The playbook would go for about twenty-two cents on Ebay :)

We're just doing a standard 2-1-2 on defense and a pretty simple offense against that zone.

I'd seriously be happy to share our "offensive system" since we aren't playing each other :)

Feel free to call the church office (202.544.0414). This is important stuff!

Word on the block is that Pastor Mark had developed the patented Batterson "Triangle" offense. Look out opposing teams!! :)
