Soundwaves & Prayer Journals

I thought I'd make a few observations about prayer during our week of prayer.

I'm digging my prayer journal. I've never written out my prayers or kept a prayer list. I feel like the prayer journal is helping me keep track of the things I want to keep on my prayer radar. I also think it'll help me keep this prayer habit going long after our week of prayer is over with.

I've been overwhelmed with the importance of prayer this week.

Only those things conceived in prayer last forever. Everything that is man-u-factured miscarries. But our prayers are eternal.

According to the science of bioacoustics, our spoken words never cease to exist. Every soundwave is traveling toward the outskirts of the universe.

What a thought!

All of our prayers are somewhere in the universe right now.

That is such a cool and encouraging thought to me.

Mark,

I'm a little disappointed.

I expected you to come up with a new Markism when you said "Prayer Radar". I thought you were going to call it "Pray-dar"!

Uh. Nevermind. Now that I see it written out. Maybe it was a bad idea.

I should let you stick to making your own Markisms! :)
