Ebenezers Day

Four years ago today we purchased 201 F Street, NE.

I'll never forget the circumstances because Josiah was born the day before. The lawyer actually came to the hospital so we could sign the papers. It's been a long hard road :) But I'm celebrating today because the dream is so close to becoming reality.

Here is a picture of the coffeehouse level.

I'm loving the copper ductwork. We'll hang some copper screens on the ceiling. And they are currently installing the "train tracks" in the floor. Once we finish painting and adding decor the place is going to be sweet!

Very special stuff. Congratulations on Ebenezers and the fulfillment of the God dream!

Do you have a coffee drink called the "Ebenezer" for doing an old school toast on opening day?

"Here I raise mine Ebenezer, hither by Thy help I'm come..." :-D

Is Ebenezers going to serve pastries or cakes?

I drove by this location a few weeks ago. You and NCC very much deserve the accolades and praise you receive for the REDEMPTION renovation taking place in that area. God-things are truly amazing!

Can't wait for the first cuppa-jo!

Still working on menu :) It'll be an experiment the first few months. Wide open to requests and ideas.

I'm also open to people bringing food/pastry samples by the office for me to try out. :)

WOW! What a way to start a workday: a cup of coffee (or a latte)...prayer and fellowship! I could go to 'church' every morning...not just on Sunday morning. Pastor Mark, congratulations on the reality of a dream Pastor Mark!

I suggest Pat's cheesecakes be sold at Ebenezer's!

I mean, if we need to form some sort of advisory panel to help out with these crucial dessert/pastry decisions, I'd be happy to help out ;)

I'm alive and well Brad. Thanks for your concern :) My blog is like my pulse rate :) If it gets too low it causes concern!
