Hot Tubs, Fireman Poles, and Bathroom Libraries

Just thought I'd share a little Ebenezer's trivia.

Ebenezers is all I can think about today. I find myself wandering over there for no reason at all today :) I've already been over there half a dozen times!

Here's an Ebenezer's multiple-choice:

a) I wanted to install a hot tub on the roof
b) I wanted to put a basketball court on the roof
c) I wanted to turn the elevator into an office.
d) I wanted to put my bookshelves into one bathroom and turn it into a library.
e) I want a secret passageway between 201 and 205 F Street.
f) I wanted our signature desert to be fondue but we call it fundue.
g) I wanted to install a fireman's pole between the office and coffeehouse levels.

h) all of the above

The answer is h :)

a) The hot tub would be for baptisms, of course!

b) I thought a rooftop basketball court would be sweet, but two-story rebounds on a busy intersection might cause accidents!

c) Wouldn't it be kind of cool to have a moving office in an elevator? The only problem is the door opening and people walking into your office all day :)

d) I think bathroom is spelled library. And vice versa. I'm a big believer in bathroom stewardship. Why not kill two birds with one stone!

e) I would love a secret door in the back of one of our closets at Ebenezers that goes through to 205 F Street. It just seems so Narnian.

f) I think fondue would be fun. Thus fundue.

g) I think it'd be totally sweet to have a fireman's pole between the first and second level so we could slide down fireman style when we had a four alarm caffeine emergency. Unfortunately, the fireman's pole wouldn't pass fire inspection. Stairs are so pedestrian, but they'll have to do!

There is a church in NE (Greater Mt. Calvary Holy Church) that has a rooftop basketball church, so don't write that on off....

15 foot high chain link should solve the basketball prob.

the fire pole? alternative - the handrails that go down your steps??? space it out from the wall far enough to straddle it....

Since we can't do the rooftop court, our next building needs to be a gym/sports facility/community center!!!!
