Long Day :)
I'm sitting in O'hare airport because my third flight of the day was cancelled :) I hopped my first flight of the day at 9:45 AM (PST) and I'll fly into DC at 10:45 PM (EST).
My day started hanging out with Don Jacobson, the President of Multnomah. We had coffee at one of the coolest coffeehouses I've ever seen. Not too many coffeehouses in DC have bear skins hanging on the wall. Then we did a little driving tour to see some of God's Country. For those NCCers who live inside the beltway, these projections coming out of the earth are called mountains.
Really enjoyed meeting Mike Yankoski this morning as well. Mike and his friend Sam spent five months on the streets homeless. He wrote about the experience in his book Under the Overpass. Really cool to connect with Mike on the way to the airport.
