I'm feeling a little foolish right now :)
I wish I could say that we perfectly timed the opening of our coffeehouse on National Coffee Day (NCD), but alas, I would be lying. I had no idea it was NCD until someone told me that we picked quite a day to open operations. I heard Starbucks was giving away free coffee part of the day today.
I have a theory about Starbuck's free coffee. It had nothing to do with National Coffee Day. It was a defensive move because they heard about this new coffee chain that was starting up in DC called Ebenezers and they're getting nervous :) That's my hunch!

I am so far behind in the times…but I was under the impression that the guy who came up with 3.00 dollar coffee needed to be shot…
Keep in mind that I can not stand coffee…
but the other day Starbucks converted me…not good since I am training for a triathlon…but I saw a Mocha…I did not even know Mocha stood for chocolate and coffee mixed…and I don’t like sweets…but this Marble Mocha got my attention…
It was cold and wet and I was walking through fashion valley in San Diego…I was going to look at the new Mac so I could drool…and I decided to stop in starbucks…now I have meetings in starbucks and love the atmosphere…but just not the coffee…anyway I stopped in and saw this marble mocha…
I tried it and fell in love…I was evangelized by starbucks…I had my second one this morning…so two in one week…scary!
I am not sure where this new relationship is heading but I better keep it in check…but I bet I have more meetings this year in starbucks than last year…
The only problem was the guy I was with said any coffee that they have to put your name on…is wrong! That didn’t stop me from getting that MOCHa
Anyway…I know your new coffee house will do well and I am sure that was the reason for Starbucks giving away coffee…
But McDonalds came out with a new line yesterday…hmmm…two new products…I am sure Starbucks does not want to become ancient like Blockbuster rentals…
