We're kicking off a new series next week based on I Samuel 7:12. The Israelites defeat the Philistines and the prophet Samuel builds a stone altar and names it Ebenezer. The Hebrew word means: "Hitherto the Lord has helped us." A few months ago I came up with my own translation of that verse: So Far So God.
It's a play off the old aphorism: so far so good. But it adds God into the equation :)
We're designing t-shirts that we'll make available next weekend. I'm a big believer in wearing my faith on my sleeve. I think So Far So God (SFSG) is a cool way of sharing my faith. I am where I am by the grace of God :)
I also think this is the beginning of evotional apparel.
