T-Minus 6 Hours

Bookmark and Share

Just spent some time arranging the chairs in our performance space. I'm a 30,000 foot person, but I'm also a detail fanatic. I just think the layout of a space determines how people feel in the space. I wanted to make sure the angle of the chairs and the space between rows was perfect. I'll probably rearrange it one more time before tonight :)

I also spent time laying hands on each chair and praying for the people that will sit in them. That used to be my Union Station ritual in the theater. Thought I'd retool it for the coffeehouse.

I have such a sense of destiny about everyone that walks through our doors and sits in our chairs. They don't come by accident. Each one is a divine appointment.

Thanks so much for writing what you do. I am in that place right now of dreaming big dreams, and looking to be in the place you guys are right now. We have had plenty of those starting services with 8 people mornings. I love what we do, but at times I feel like I am running up a down escalator. I see the top and am making progress, but we are not quite to that spot yet...

So again thanks for helping to fuel dreams in young dreamers like myself. See ya at the buzz.
