For the past four years, my second office has been Bagels & Baguettes. It's a little coffeeshop at the corner of 3rd and Massachusetts Avenues, NE. I think I've been one of their best customers. Today was my last "official visit" to BB since we open Ebenezers next week. It's not like I'll never go there again, but it won't be part of my daily or weekly routine anymore.
Bagels has been a huge part of my study rhythm. I typically spent a couple hours there on Saturday mornings. It allowed me to get away from the commotion of the office and ringing telephones. Now I can just go out on my balcony or up on the rooftop :) You know I'm going to have a comfortable lounge chair up there! And eventually we'll have a hot tub. I mean baptismal.
The funny thing is that the two block walk to Bagels started feeling farther and farther away the last two weeks as we've moved into Ebenezers. Now that my caffeine fix is a short elevator ride away, I can't believe I walked that far to get Chai :)

I wish you well as you preach tonight (and tomorrow) :)
Mark,
Praying (from Dallas, TX) for God's shekinah glory to fill the room and to take total control tonight. I pray that God blows your mind.
1 Corinthians 2:9 - "That's why we have this Scripture text: No one's ever seen or heard anything like this, Never so much as imagined anything quite like it--What God has arranged for those who love him." (The Message Translation)
YOU AIN'T SEEN NOTHING YET!
Mark,
Praying for a great weekend and for many more miracles! I'll especially be praying for you tonight. It's been exciting tracking this adventure with you. God is awesome! Can't wait to see what He continues to do at NCC...

I pray that the Lord continues to bless you and your church. He is not done with you yet,
