One Relaxed Dude

Just wrapped up a whirlwind weekend.

The Saturday Night service @ Ebenezers rocked. One of the things I like about the coffeehouse environment is that we can do an informal dismissal and people can create an altar. I really felt God's anointing on last night's message. I had very little time to prepare. I was exhausted from Buzz. But that is when you preach like it depends on God.

The Sunday highlight was one of our homeless guys coming up to me while everyone else was seated and "giving me the fist." He held out his fist and I held out my fist and we hit fists. For what it's worth, I perfer the "fist" to the more traditional hand shake. But the timing was so funny. I was setting up a baby dedication and he just came up spur of the moment. Alrighty then. That's one reason why I like NCC. You never know what to expect.

We pulled off another weekend. And that is no small accomplishment post-buzz.

All I can say is this: I am one relaxed dude :)

Mark,

Props to you on an outstanding conference dude. I have read some blogs and it looks like you guys hit the ball out of the park...but I would expect nothing less from the awesome team that you have around you.

This is just the beginning dude...God has placed you in DC to take that city for Christ...I can't wait to hear about all the "BUZZ" that keeps on taking place up there.

You should probably take 2 days off this week:)

Great conference, timely speakers (yourself included), totally awesome!

Thanks for sharing not only the great things, but also your integrity to share the "so far, so gOOd" story. We've all been there!

Enjoy the rest.

Oh, by the way, your staff is awesome and DC should be President in DC!
