Multnomah

I think it was two weeks ago today that I got a little surprise.

Just as we were finishing edits on the last chapter of In a Pit with a Lion on a Snowy Day, I found out that my publisher, Multnomah, was being sold to another publisher. It was a little bit of a shock :) Thankfully it doesn't jeopardize my book in any way. In fact, there could be some upside depending on who is buying Multnomah out. My only concern is this: I want to keep writing with the same team of people! I can't imagine a better working relationship between author and publisher.

There is certainly a level of uncertainty about what the future looks like, but I've been so impressed with the way the team has kept on keeping on with my project. Can't wait till the book goes to print :)

Mark,

I actually thought of you when I was reading another blog that mentioned the Multnomah deal. Could be a very good and powerful move depending on who the buyer actually is...Best of Luck! Can't wait for the book, no matter who the pub is!

Mark-

Thanks for your inspiratin. I recently started my own blog (in place of writing a hard copy book) with about 2 years of thoughts I have been capturing. My mission in starting my blog seems very much the same reason you started your Evotionals. I would appreciate taking a look at my blog and any feedback you could provide from your experiences. I absolutely love to write and being inspired by God. Maybe someday I'll go hard back! Not alot of posted content yet, but it should build up quickly. I really dig your site too.

Thanks
