What was I thinking
I think I'm going to start a new blog feature called what was I thinking. Every once in a while I like to share something I've done that is really stupid just as a way of encouraging evotional readers :)
So I swing through McDonalds to get b-fast on the way to a swim meet this morning and I order coffee. But the cup is full and I typically do half coffee and half milk :) So I've got to empty about an inch. Without thinking I lower my window while driving about 60 mph on 295N.
Please don't try this at home!
First of all, half the coffee came flying out instantaneously. And it all came right back in the car. It splattered in my face, on my shirt, and in my lap! The only good news is that the wind cooled it off a little so I didn't get burned.

I have to admit, I have done this before - only not with coffee. It was definatley a "what was I thinking" moment.

It reminds me of the time I was sitting next to my buddy on a chair lift going up the mountain one snowy winter's afternoon when he decided to hauk a loogie straight out into the wind. Made me wish I rode the lift with my goggles down!
I've tried to spit out the window at high speeds. Not recommended.
went to see foy vance tonite last night, dunno if youve heard of him, he's a singer/songwiter from belfast, he actually had a couple of songs in greys anatomy, but anyway, was sittin listenin to him with a hot coffee in my hand, and my somehow managed jus to tip the coffee all over my hand successfuly roasting my fingers,
yeah... i've been there too. only not with coffee, I did it with chicken noodle soup!
