Just got the news. Looks like Random House, the largest trade book publisher in America, is buying Multnomah. Not sure of all the implications. Looks like Multnomah will tag-team with another Random imprint, Waterbrook Press. I definitely resonate with the Waterbrook mission: to communicate old truth through new eyes. I feel like that is my writing passion.
My greatest hope in this transition is that I'll be working with the same people at Multnomah! I really feel like God orchestrated that relationship in the first place, and it's not like this buy out is a surprise to Him. So I guess I'll keep writing and trusting :)
