So we hung out with some of the ministrycom crew last night.
We ate at one of the top five seafood restaurants in the United States called Castro Del Mar in Scottsdale, AZ. The great irony is that I don't like seafood :) So it could have been one of the bottom five seafood restaurants and I wouldn't have known the difference :)
It's one of those places where you feel like you have to talk in a sophisticated accent and act elegant. Whatever that means. So we had a private dining room. We had chairs for twenty-one, but there were twenty-seven of us. I'm not mathematician, but that means we had six people too many. And we all wanted seperate bills.
Waitress nightmare :)
Tony Morgan even made her cry! Not really. Sort of. She did cry, but it wasn't all Tony's fault :) The good news is that her tip went way up when she cried.
By the way, the water alone cost $52. But boy was that good water. So tasteless!
It wasn't just a meal. It was an experience.
Lots of memories. Lots of laughs!

i dont like seafood either, but i was at an excellent seafood restaurant tonight, called, The Blue Peter pub in Sidney, on Vancouver Island, was really good, i had a burger though, not very adventurous
I've been working on my sophisticated accent since the Ocean Club experience...I better stick with Chipotle
Alright, so "the Daves" (Dave Clark, Pastor of Media and David Russell, Digital Pastor) keep telling me that the restaurant wasn't named Castro Del Mar. And maybe it wasn't, but I like that name even if that isn't the real name. But just in case you're in Scottsdale, AZ looking all over for Castro Del Mar, that isn't really the name. I'm not revealing the real name. It'll make it more of adventure trying to find it. Good luck :)
How's that for a comment on my own blog?
