Raw Rejoicing

Just got done crying.

Just heard that some people crossed the line of faith at our Alpha dinner last night. One of them is a guy I met and I actually woke up praying for him this morning. That rarely happens, but God put him on my heart big time.

I honestly can't stop crying every time I think about it. Raw rejoicing. That is the only way I can describe it. And I think it mirrors the reality in heaven.

There is rejoicing in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.

Luke 15:10

PM this is sooooo awesome. I see people at NCC every Sunday who have had their lives changed by Christ on Alpha. I am in constant wonder. Usually get the chills. Alpha is not only leading people to Christ but God is raising up amazing leaders through Alpha @ NCC. Maybe you can share with your readers what Alpha is and how it has influenced NCC. :)

Yes, I was wondering what is Alpha? I found NCC through David Russell. So, I am not familiar with your ministries. Praise God either way.

Eric,

Alpha is a great place to ask questions about faith in a safe environment. It basically explores the basic tenets of the Christian faith. And it has proved to be a spiritual turning point for a ton of people.

Check out www.alpha.org.

I love hearing about people getting saved. It is an opportunity to rejoice with the angels. I would love to read more about how the lives of people in your church are being impacted by Jesus, especially with the diversity of your congregation.
