Soda Can Sound
Alright folks, get your fix now :) Evotional.com is going mute. I'm turning off the soda can sound. I'm going to miss it. It's like a security blanket. An old sweatshirt. A trusty sidekick.
For some of you, this is a sad day.
For some of you, this is a happy day.
If you'd like to write a eulogy go for it.
Rest in Peace Soda Can Sound!

rUst in peace, soda can sound...
I feel like I've had 3 cases of pop in the last coule of month's. Maybe a burp sound byte is due! lol
I can't wait for the book. Peace
Why, bro, why?
A Eulogy for Coke Can Noise:
You kept all of us embarrassed in the workplace and at home. You always kept us thirsty, but you were never a real can, you were only digital--and as such, you could never really quench our thirsts. Perhaps your existence was too esoteric for us; we're simple-minded folk. Perhaps we may never understand you, even in death. May your journey to the Windows Recycle Bin be a pleasant one.
Note to self:
After funeral, dump Recycle Bin into the binary blackness known as the "binary blackness".
I'm laughing harder and harder :) That last eulogy, David, made me cry. Not in the sad sense.
If I knew the eulogies were this good I would have killed the soda can sound sooner.
By the way, do you all believe in resurrection :)
You never know :)
Mark
It is a sad day indeed. Maybe replace with the sound of a cappucino machine?
ahhhh...I love the the sound. Hasta la vista to the soda can.
Mark, I wish you had done that before yesterday.
I was in class and, instead of paying attention to the instructor, decided to surf the Web. (I know, not good) There's a feature in the Mac OS X Safari web browser which allows you to call up several links at once (Open All Tabs) for links you've bookmarked. Yours is one of them.
I had a moment of horror as I realized that when your site came up...the Soda Can Sound would be heard in all its glory! I desperately tried to refresh and refresh and refresh...but the page loaded, and the sound was heard...by two girls who heard it and looked back and wondered what the heck that goofy guy was doing. I tried to play off like I was opening my Coke bottle...it didn't work.
Fortunately, I was in the back of the room :-) The professor heard nothing.
Brian,
Thanks for the gut laugh :) Hilarious.
Maybe we need to share "awkward evotional" memories :)
Mark
I love your blog Mark but I would always try to hit "stop" or "back" on the computer after the page loaded but before the "soda can sound" would play. It was annoying after a while! I was going to blog about it but didn't!
Well, it "sounds" like there were so many fan for the soda sound that it still is alive and carbonated
