Top Ten Ways to Redeem Technology

At the end of my session at Ministrycom I shared a top ten list.

Top Ten Ways to Redeem Technology

1) Start blogging
2) Start podcasting your sermons
3) Communicate with your congregation via e-newsletter
4) Redesign your webpage all the time
5) Shoot, Edit, and Produce video trailers for your sermon series
6) Launch a leaders-only podcast for vision casting and leader training
7) Send out an email version of your messages
8) Do word of mouse marketing via evites
9) Brand all of your sermon series with series graphics
10) If all else fails, hire a Digital Pastor

i was in attendance at the conference in arizona last week and was really impacted by your session. thanks much for that.

also, i loved the baptism video you showed at the end... so glad you opted for that over Q&A (nothing personal). i have done lots of video editing for churchy events in the past, but have lost interest. your church's video reignited my desire to serve in that way again. (and i'm eagerly waiting to see it again on the ear&eye candy section)

i enjoy your blog and appreciate that, as a senior level pastor, you are willing to share your daily thoughts with your congregation (and others) without being anonymous.

God bless your church and all the coolio stuff that's coming out of it. and pass on my kudos to your video editor(s). it made me want to get baptized again.

YES! I too am getting re-baptized because of that video... it was the first seed planted. I was baptized when I was 12, because I was expected to. Now I'm doing it because... well its time.
