Weekend Recap
I love the weekend after Labor Day!
We had packed services. In fact, we had about a hundred people show up at our connection lunch following our 11 AM @ Union Station. It's a good thing we're launching a second Saturday night service next week--5:05 & 7:07.
I was pretty tired going into this weekend. After all of our delayed flights I didn't get home till 3:30 AM on Saturday morning. I honestly didn't feel very confident going into my message, but I've learned that sometimes that is when the Holy Spirit takes over. I really felt a unique anointing. Definitely preached from my heart this weekend.
I met several people today who got one of our postcards in the mail. Nice to know some people accepted our invitation. Also cool to hear the way God used the message this weekend. Lots of divine appointments. We had a great prayer time after the service @ Ebenezers. One thing I love about Saturday nights is I have the flexibility to pray with and talk with people. It is a little more laid back. We also set up a prayer theater at Union Station.
I love this God @ the Billboards series. Each of our bands did a great job with Bad Day. They did very different versions. It was cool to see how they each owned and played the song.
Can't wait till Crazy next week. A little Gnarls Barkley.
