Weekend Reflections
Great weekend.
We continued our God @ the Billboards series with Crazy by Gnarls Barkley. Steph Modder rocked the song. She added a bluezy feel to it. And she managed to sing it at all five of our services! No easy feat.
This was my first weekend preaching four times. I actually felt great. What was really weird is that I "felt" my message more my fourth time preaching it than I did the first three times. Usually it's the exact opposite. It typically gets harder and harder not to preach from memory.
We've got some serious momentum going right now. And it is the byproduct of praying like it depends on God and working like it depends on us.
Our attendance is booming. Our band is rocking. And our small groups are launching.
Ministry is a ton of fun right now.
I'm just trying to enjoy the journey!

Please post the new pass on the theaterchurch.com website. You've still got the Summer Pass up.
Thanks.
Steph did rock that song. Is there any way we can get an MP3 of it? ;)
We'll try to get the new pass up.
We're redesigning and relaunching our website--should go live this week. But I'm passing the message along :)
Hey Pastor Mark, I was at the new 7:07 service on Saturday and you mentioned the 5:05 service was empty. How many people actually showed-up at the 5:05 service?
Our 7:07 at Ebenezers and 11:00 at Union were both OVER capacity. So we really want to shift people to 9:30 at Union Station 5:05 at Ebenezers. It was our first weekend with two Saturday night services so who knows how it will play out, but we have room for about 50 at the 9:30 and 50 at the 5:05.
I really want everybody to go to whatever service they want to :) But we've got a good problem.

anon1: The new pass is up. For your convenience, you may reach the pass directly (PDF) if you'd like.
PM-- your sermons were so ON POINT this weekend! 7:07 was powerful. I love the fact that I am still blown away when the annointing is so heavy, even when it happens so often at NCC. Steph did rock!
Hey Pastor, that's so awesome that you're recognizing and celebrating God's goodness! I rejoice with you and appreciate your example.
