One reason I love the Inner Harbor in Baltimore is because it was my first road trip when I was a freshman in college. I was playing basketball for the University of Chicago and John Hopkins was our first road game.
I have such vivid memories of that trip. I remember hitting three three-pointers in my first game. It was my first flight so I remember looking out the airplane window most of the flight. And I still remember the gift I bought at the mall in the Inner Harbor.
For what its worth, we didn't win a single road game the entire season! That may have been due to the fact that I was the only guy on the team that didn't stay out all night and get drunk before every road game.
