Office in a Coffeehouse

Man do I love having my office in a coffeehouse! Nothing like walking into our coffeehouse on a cold December morning and grabbing a hot white chocolate mocha!
For what it's worth, one of my favorite moments of the day is that moment when the whipped cream is almost melted. That moment between whip and liquid. I take the top off my cup and slurp. I love that moment. But I digress :)
Loving Ebenezers these days! So cool to know that we've provided a third place for our community to hang out. I was also encouraged by our survey that revealed that 54% of the people attending our Saturday Night services at Ebz have attended NCC less than a year. In other words, our two Saturday night services aren't just transfers from our other locations. The majority are new NCCers.
For what it's worth, Ebenezers has been nominated as one of the City's Best Coffeehouses by the AOL cityguide. Here's a link if you want to cast a vote for Ebenezers.
Go Ebz!

I usually don't comment on my own blogs :) But I just had a conversation with a church that is looking to do a coffeehouse and I think they have the creativity and entreprenurial spirit to pull it off better than us :)
Got me thinking. Maybe we ought to have a "coffeehouse conferrence" along with the "church in a theater forum" at next year's Buzz conference.
Hmmmmm....

You've gotten my vote and my envy with your offices in the coffeehouse. While my Florida winters aren't quite as cold as DC, I can certanily dream of the ease of getting great coffee just steps from my office.
Voted for Ebenezers! Good luck!
I don't know how anyone, believer or not, could not like Ebenezers. The atmosphere is just fantastic. Everyone I've taken there has loved it.
Office in a coffee house. Hmmm. Are you looking for a staff member? ;)
I'd be game for a coffeehouse seminar. The wife and I were just talking yesterday how it would be cool to open a shop with the name "HeBrews."
DD,
HeBrews.
That's good. Real good. Real real good.

All props to my wife. Outside of marring me, its one of the best things she has come up with. :) Seriously. Don't try to steal it. I meant to add a (c) next to it. It's mine. You can't have it. Back off. :)
Too late DD :) We've already opened three HeBrews stores and one international store since you posted your comment :)

"HeBrews" - All I can say is...WOW!
=)
As a children's pastor in a theater church, I've thought how cool it would be to visit NCC but as a self professed coffee snob, I think I want to check out Ebenezer's even more! Way to go!
