Relevant Network Kit
Looks like In a Pit with a Lion on a Snowy Day will be one of the featured books included in the Relevant Network Kit next quarter.
The Relevant Network is a subset of Relevant Magazine. It resources leaders who are working with emerging generations. We've subscribed to the kit for about two years now and our staff pillages the kit when it comes. It's like Christmas four times a year--great books, CDs, and magazines!
If you want to subscribe here's a link.
Really excited about In a Pit getting into the hands of emerging leaders! We're trying to seed as many copies as we can with as many leaders as we can.

Hey Mark,
You might not remember me but i'm the pastor at Living To Go Church (the converted theater)outside of Nashville where you spoke along with Mark Rutland. I noticed that you had once met in a nightclub before moving to theaters. We're about to launch something similar and i'm curious about a couple of things... (if you've got time.. with all the lion chasing and all :)
The book was great and i've been giving them as Christmas gifts this year.

Mark,
Our children's Pastor just read your book. She preached a sermon at my daughter's private school about being Lion Chasers - and what that means for young people. There were 350 kids who walked away with the message. My 6 year old told me this morning that she had chased down 4 lions already and named what they were! Sleeping all night in the dark was one! :) I think there is a children's book inside there! In all your spare time! Thank you for your vision for leaders.
Dara,
I love. Hope none of those kids had nightmares :) Actually, Josiah thought it was going to be a kid's picture book and seemed disappointed when he discovered it wasn't so maybe we need a kid's version :)
Mark
