Rocky Balboa
We went to see Rocky Balboa this week. The theater was absolutely electric. It's one of those rare movies where people actually clap and yell. I was one of them :) I was going nuts in round two!
I loved the movie. It's not Rocky IV. But great storyline! The Batterson family is doing a little Rocky marathon this week. We watched Rocky I & II yesterday. We're going to watch Rocky III & IV today. What I love is that Lora loves Rocky as much as I do. Maybe more :)
By the way, I hope I'm in half the shape that Stallone is at 60! Are you kidding me?

Finally, some Rocky Reviews! I saw it late last Wednesday Night, and the place was full of about 80% men. We were all cheering and shouting, and throwing fake punches.
Especially, when Rocky roughs up the hecklers. It was great!
I saw it Friday...I have some of the same impressions as you do...If you were looking for another part with high levels of "testosterone"....you will be disappointed....I have been saying this for 25 years now....Rocky is about relationships....He proved that in this final chapter....

Totally agree Chill. Not as much testosterone, but a "deeper" story with more meaning. I love the main theme--it how hard you can get hit and still get up!

You ain't lying. I got to meet Sylvester Stallone when they did the faith-based premiere here in Dallas. Sly is built like a rock. I couldn't believe he is 60.
Do I smell one of the selections for next year's God at the Box Office ...? :-)
