I was frustrated this morning because amazon.com ran out of In a Pit with a Lion on a Snowy Day. I'm sure we'll get them restocked but they are saying 3-6 weeks to ship right now. I've also gotten emails from a variety of people who can't seem to get copies from their book distributors.
I'm fine with people not getting the book because they don't want the book :) But I hate the fact that some people who want the book haven't been able to get the book!
That's the bad news. Here's the good news.
We just got fifty cases of In a Pit with a Lion on a Snowy Day delivered on our doorstep!

I'm sorry to hear about Amazon, but very pleased to see how successful the book has been. It is very well deserved!
Well maybe they ran out because you ordered 50 cases! =)
Just wanted to say I've been reading the book (about 2/3 through it) and it's been great so far, hoping to present it to my small group when we finish our current book.
Even cooler, I was praying about a decision that I had to make about something and I couldn't really figure out what I was going to do. Later that day I was reading "In A Pit..." and the section I read was almost prophetic, it spoke EXACTLY about what I was flip-flopping about. And not in a "that sorta applies to me" kind of way but more like "those are exact details of my situation". Craziness.
Anyways, great book... when's the next one comin out? ;)
Jesse,
Glad the book is a blessing. The sovereignty of God is amazing isn't it? Knows exactly what we need to read exactly when we need to read it! I've had a few of those moments!
Mark
I got the last one at Family Christian a few weeks ago. I love it. :) Heard about you from ready Perry's blog.
I mean reading. And Perry's always ready, too, it seems.
