Coaching

I'm coaching Parker's basketball team again this season. We just had our last practice before our first game. The adrenaline was pumping! I was walking the sideline high-fiving the kids and almost lost my voice yelling encouragement. We're implementing a half-court pressure defense this year. I told them they need to be pit bulls on defense. That metaphor seemed to resonate. Have no idea what to expect on Saturday, but I can't wait for the game!

If I wasn't pastoring I could definitely see myself coaching.

Love the competitive outlet. Love the strategy. Love the game.

You are a coach. The only difference is the eternal rewards you will receive. Keep it up, coach!

As a coach, a pastor, and a man, you have the opportunity to influence so many...it doesn't always take reaching thousands...sometimes it's just one. As a coach, thought you might like to read this...
