How did you get your copy?
It's been fun to hear stories of how people got their copy of In a Pit with a Lion on a Snowy Day. Keep being reminded that God is sovereign! And I'm so grateful for the word of mouth!
Heard a few encouraging stories today.
A pastor friend, Buddy Cremeans, told me his fourteen year-old co-opted his book. I've been pleasantly suprised at the way teenagers have resonated with the book! By the way, Buddy pastors a rockin' church in New York--Northway Fellowship. Looking forward to seeing it firsthand when I speak there next August.
Another friend serves on the board of the One Campaign. He is giving away copies right and left, but he told me today that he's giving the book to Bono. Beautiful Day!
One of our over-arching prayers was for divine appointments--that the book would get into the right hands at the right time. So cool to see it happen one book at a time!

Bono... amazing! I have to admit I have a lot of respect for Bono. Hope you get some feedback from him!

I got my copy in the mail from the author. He gave it to me free because I was a church planter. Free is the best price I can pay for anything right now...

I got my first copy from Borders, but it's already looking older than its age because it's been passed around so much. Most of the box I got from you a couple of weeks ago is gone, the rest are reserved for our Chase the Lion group kicking off in the next couple of months.
My dad works at a construction company where the owners (yes, they are Christians) buy a book for all the managers to read, then they have a meeting the end of the month to discuss it. I told him about "In a Pit", they are all reading it next month.
Can't wait to see this book go for its 50th printing!

I got my book from my brother-in-law, who is working in D.C. part time and somehow heard of you. After he read his copy, he gave it to me and purchased a bunch more!
Thank you for your timely writing. It is definitely stuff the Church needs to hear right now. I am considering starting a ministry, and this book was an excellent addition to my preparation.

I got mine when some crazy pastor decided to give them away to everyone as a reverse birthday present... :)
Got my first copy from you but then I bought 5 copies from Amazon, gave them out in two days to a friend and a pastor. I just ordered 10 more copies yesterday to give as gifts to others who need encouragement. This book is a divine gift and God flowed through you in an amazing way. To me, an $11.61 (Amazon) investment in someone elses life is well worth it. Hope to continue to spread the word and chase a few lions in the process!
I haven't read your book yet, but my pastor did a series on it. It sooo changed my outlook on life! Thank you! Got my book at the Lifechurch store. It was one of "Craig's Picks."
Read through it the first time in about a week. Went back and read it again and liked it even more the second time.
For me it was the perfect book at the perfect time. Lifechanging.

Your book came to me FREE since I am a church planter. Since that day I have bought many copies to give away...our leadership team is beginning to chase lions.
