Newest NCCer
My brother and sister-in-law, Pastor Joel and Nina Schmidgall, had their baby at 5:13 AM this morning. Eloise Kimberly Schmidgall, aka "Ella", was 8 lbs. 11 oz. and 21 3/4 inches long! Thems the vitals.
Had the joy of holding my neice for the first time around 9 AM this morning. Lots of rejoicing over the newest member of the family and the newest NCCer :)

Sorry to go off topic, but I heard one of those Parable Big Change Moment segments on Air1 down here in Savannah. At the end it said, "by Mark Batterson" and I thought, "Hey. I know who he is."

Hooray for Joel and Nina and new baby Ella. She has no idea what is in store for her with you as an uncle and Joel and Nina as parents. Prepare for craziness and lots of love little girl!
