Third Generation Readers
I ordered 1000 personal copies of In a Pit with a Lion on a Snowy Day when the second printing came off the press in mid-December. I've got five books left :)
Blown away by so many people buying so many books! It seems like most books sell one copy at a time but In a Pit seems to be selling one case at a time.
I feel like evotional readers are shareholders in this book!
Thanks for spreading the word. It's awfully gratifying to see third generation readers--a friend who heard about it from a friend who heard about it from a friend.
I honestly feel like God answers a prayer every time someone picks up a copy of the book! We prayed that the right people would get the book at the right time. Seems like that is happening on a daily basis. Huge privilege to be a small part of people's lives via the books I write. I never want to take that for granted.

Mark - Guy Mundy from Mitchell, Indiana spoke with you some time ago about buying "In A Pit" for everyone in our church. While we haven't ordered for everyone yet, we do have a small group that will be using the book for their next study, and it's likely at this point that all of our SG leaders will go through the book together and then lead their groups through it. Ultimately, we would like to use the resources you all have so generously offered, and do a full-blown sermon series. Thanks for all of the help you're offering to God's churches!
I just want to encourage you to keep writing -- the ideas from In A Pit ARE making a difference in how people are following Jesus!
