Murphy's Law
We finally got our furnace fixed yesterday. Needed a new ignitor! Then we got up and we didn't have any hot water this morning. And it's the coldest day of the year :) Murphy's Law! Murphy's Law!
Fortunately, I was able to get that one fixed myself--a minor miracle. Must have turned off the gas to our water heater when I turned off the gas to our furnace. The first time in ten years that I've had to relight the pilot light. While relighting it I discovered I was supposed to check it every six months. Oooppps!
Once again the Batterson's have heat and hot water. Balance has been restored to the universe! The Force is once again with us.

Totally feel your pain. I've been dealing with frozen pipes at my place. Ah, the joys of winter!
