Chicken Curry, Laughter & A Little Concert Action
We had our staff over for a little Indian-style Chicken Curry last night--one of my favorite meals. Love the spice. And I love the condiments--peanuts, cantelope, bananas, green peppers. Taste sensation.
Gotta say it: I love our team. I honestly think that who you're doing ministry with determines how much you enjoy ministry. The last couple weeks we've had some serious gut laughs. No shortage of laughter around the office! That is too rare in too many churches. Laughter is part of the imago Dei. We need to cultivate it and celebrate it.
After dinner a few of us went to Ebz for a little concert action. I took Summer with me--she's a music lover. Steph Modder did her thing--so gifted. She makes her guitar seem like a full band sometimes! Then we had Joey DeGraw--Gavin's brother--in concert.
Good times.
