Valley Forge Christian College
Got up at 5:15 AM and headed out to Valley Forge Christian College. It felt like 4:15 AM body clock after Daylight Savings. I preached a Chase the Lion message in chapel. Man, they were so responsive. I really feel a connection with the students. Thoroughly enjoy speaking at VFCC. Went through seven cases of books after chapel. I honestly didn't think very many students would want copies--as if they don't have enough to read! But I was pleasantly surprised. Lots of lion chasers at VFCC.
Had lunch with President Don Meyer after chapel--He's one the good guys! Always enjoy reconnecting with him. Then we headed back to DC and called it a long day!
We definitely owe a debt of gratitude to VFCC. They are shareholders in NCC. Two staff members, Dave Clark and Amanda Norwich, are VFCC grads. And we're adding a staff member, Jeremy Sexton, who graduates in May.

Hey, you were in our 'neck of the woods'! (We're church planters in Pottstown, about 25 mins from VFCC). We made the same day trip back in Jan when we checked out Ebenezers, caught the pastor's showing of Amazing Grace and got to meet with Heather. Our trip was well worth it - sounds like yours was too!
