Just got some good news from my publisher. Looks like In a Pit with a Lion on a Snowy day is going to its fifth printing next month. Just want to say a huge thanks to blog readers. Honestly, without the blog effect, I'm not sure it would have gone to a second printing.

Just to let you know how God works. I am working through 1 Samuel and was trying to come up with some stuff for chap 14, so we to sermoncentral.com found this great one from a guy named Mark Batterson. I liked it. (and stole a lot of it) and then checked out the link to your church, was impressed. Started to become a regular evotional.com reader. Kept reading everything and I knew I had to read In A Pit. So I bought a copy from amazon. Honestly, like so many other readers, I read most of it while my wife was in the hospital and I was waiting. I loved it! So being the good evotional.com reader that I am for Father's Day I convinced my wife to buy me a couple cases of In the Pit. Im looking forward to giving away my Father's day present. It is a lot of fun. In the fall, my church will be going on a great lion chase. Im waiting for the small group stuff to come out. Come late Sept early Oct we on it! Thanks. Keep serving God!
