Baptism by the Bay
I'm so excited about our annual Baptism by the Bay this weekend. If you want to check out last year's Baptism Video just click on evo-media. Then click on Baptism by the Bay. I could watch this video a thousand times and it'd never get old. Nothing like seeing one life touched and changed by God.
The Baptism by the Bay is probably the highlight of the year for me. To see people go public with their faith and hear the stories of the way God has brought them to where they are spiritually is awesome! And I love doing it on a public beach.
One cool idea we had this year is giving everybody who gets baptized a Sponge Bob beach towel with Baptism by the Bay and the date inscribed on it. Just kidding about the Sponge Bob part. Hopefully the towel is a spiritual memento of sorts.

this video was one of the most meaningful things our ministry team experienced at buzz. The video was extremely moving and reminded us all of why we do what we do-and we are keeping it in mind as we have a baptism service planned at the end of our current series.
I check out your blog almost every day. It is great to follow your ministry all all that the Lord is doing at NCC. I haven't ever commented before, but I had to after watching the Baptism by the Bay video. Wow. Incredible. Praise God for those changed lives. I hope to visit soon to NCC. I can't wait for the Threads release of Chase The Lion. We've been working hard on it!

okay - so the towel idea is great. Any fan of Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy knows that you can't travel anywhere in the universe without a towel. Well done, NCC. Well done.
I am a big fan of Riverdance. Your version is a must see! I have viewed it twice and probably because I love a good laugh will watch it several more times. I know this has nothing to do with the Baptism video but I saw the Riverdance as a result of watching the Baptism video.
