On the Road Again

Bookmark and Share

Our entire family is taking a little cross-country road trip this week. I've got three speaking gigs. The first stop is the Assemblies of God General Council in Indianapolis. I'm doing three leadership seminars before the council kicks off on Tuesday and Wednesday. Then I continue the Chase the Lion tour with stops at Granger Community Church on Thursday night and Christian Life Center on the weekend.

Really excited about throwing in a visit to Chicago and Naperville! We'll take the kids by the old stomping grounds where we grew up in Naperville. We'll hit some of the hot spots downtown Chicago. And we'll eat as much pizza as is humanly possible! Hoping we can make it to Malnotti's, Gino's, and Eduardo's. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner baby!

HEY MARK! I just found out that you're going to be at Granger Thursday night! I'll be there too! Talk to you then!

I'd like to try and catch you in Chicago but there's no details on the CLC website.

Have fun in Naperville - it's changed A LOT!

Hey Mark, stay out of the Barrington area. Willow's having their leadership summit and it takes over about everything in the west suburbs. Have a great trip!

You should go to Weber Grill too - I think it's off of Naperville Rd. - best spinach and artichoke dip ever!!

I heard your name getting thrown around when mentioning possible GS of the AG.

Make sure you exhale lots of fresh air while you are there!

Mark -

Welcome to Indy. I hope you enjoy our little city. I know it is no chi-town, but we are proud of it! A mention of Weber Grill was made. We have one in Indy and it is an excellent place to grab some grub.

While your family is in Indy..check out the World's largest Children's Museum. the Dinosphere is excellent, (minus the millions of years thing!) Lots of fun for the whole family, not just kids!

Mark -

I almost forgot...while you are in Indy, the US Jr. National swimming meet will be going on at the Natatroium. I am pretty sure one of your kids swims, so it might be another cool thing for your family to check out.

Marzee,

I'm speaking at all three weekend services. They should have directions on the site.

Hope that helps.

Mark,

No Cubs Game? You have to get this in to keep up with the "chi-town brainwashing" of our children. We are going to 2 games when the Cubs are in Colorado! See you at Council.

Doug,

They're away :) What can you do! The kids really wanted to go to Wrigley, but alas...we'll just eat more pizza!

Marzee & Mark,
Can't believe that we didn't have you advertised on our site, but got it corrected this morning.

We're expecting over 100 folks from our newest campus in South Bend, IN to join us en masse at the 11:15 service, so it's gonna be SRO...but that'll just add to the fun. Come join us!

Hey man...let me know if you want to stop by the old Schmidgall stomping ground at River Oaks Community Church when you are passing by us to get to Christian Life Center! We will be doing a large School Supply Give-Away Saturday morning incase you have an outreach itch you need to settle in the middle of all that preaching!

hey mark!

I don't have an account on here, but I have read some of your thoughts on the 'futureAG' blog, and really liked the insight.

I'm a 24-year old credentialed soon-to-be pastor who has that eery feeling that in the future I will be planting a church.

I was wondering if there was a possibility we could do some idea swapping (mostly you sharpening my ideas) by e-mail since I don't actually have an account on here. I'll boldly go so far as to put my e-mail address on here and hope you reply

vanilla_weiss2@hotmail.com (I know, it's not a grown-up e-mail address)

cheers!
