Anybody else fired up about the NFL season kicking off tonight?
We're actually getting the NFL package at Ebenezers and turning Ebz into a sports coffeehouse on Sundays! I think it'll be another marketplace ministry. There aren't too many places on Capitol Hill that have all the games televised.

Mark, my pastor is Sam Maseteller at Freedom Life in Christiana, PA. please call him and concvince him that we too need to get the sunday ticket at church! jk, of course, and he actually reads your blog...but yeah, that sounds cool. love what you guys are doing there.
I am SO excited about football season. The long drought of summer is over, and football is on the horizon. The great thing is that here in Mexico we get Sunday Ticket for 85 bucks. Not bad, huh?

I'm not sure if it's completely Biblical, but I get the sense that Jesus loves the Chargers just a little more than the other teams...

Joel had told me about it today, but when I showed up there were just two games on in the coffee shop and the downstairs was closed for worship team practice... I was a little disappointed since I wanted to see the Stillers kick some tail.
Oh, and I was hoping that you were going to share the buy-drinks-for-people-whose-life-sucks verse: Proverbs 31:6-7.
