Catalyst Reflections

I think this was my sixth Catalyst Conference. Loved the speakers! Loved the worship! And I can't wait till next year. We already have our tickets!

A few highlights included singing shout unto God with the voice of triumph with 11,500 other worshipers; our traditional staff dinner at PF Changs; and lunch with Rick Warren.

Great conference! But it's also good to be home sweet home.

Great song. I actually first heard it at last year's Easter service at NCC (2006) when I was interning on the Hill. Glad to hear the conference went well!

I am the Jr. High Pastor at Crossroads. My boy Jason said you did awesome the other night at the Chase the Lion event. Thanks for spending some time encouraging some future lion chasers.

What did you think of Erwin McManus today?

Mark I am sick we didn't get to catch up in the lobby like we said we would. I know too much rock star stuff to attend to...I get it bro. Can we connect online? I can't find an email (which is totally understandable. But I will give you one that will get to me. threetext@gmail.com. Will you shoot me a line so we can intersect. I think something might be cooking.

Daniel,

It's really weird, but my biggest take aways from conferences now tend not to be the sessions themselves but the relational connections. Biggest take away was probably at lunch with Rick Warren and it was probably the simplest thing he said.

He said you can measure spiritual renewal (my paraphrase) by 1) how loud they sing together during church and 2) how long they hang out together after church.

Interesting barometers!

Mark

Mark,
It was great to meet you at the catalyst. I was one of the first 100 to get a signed, "Chase the Lion" book. Awesome lab! Thanks for who you are!
